Black Bone Collective is a San Diego band consisting of dynamic, energetic
musicians with an appreciation for the blues legends as well as modern blues, swing, jump, R&B and funk.
Black Bone Collective exhibits these influences in their original material on their self titled CD.
Some of the venues where Black Bone Collective have performed are the '04, ‘05, ‘06 & '07 San Diego County
Fair (one of which, they opened for harmonica blues legend James Cotton), The 24th International Blues Challenge
hosted by BLUSD at the Belly Up Tavern, Patrick’s II in the Gaslamp, Ocean House in Carlsbad,
Friar's Folly in San Marcos, Tio Leo’s near Old Town, Bailey’s BBQ in Julian, CA, Theatrx,
Pounders, and Blues Cabaret in Escondido, Fat Katz in Encinitas, The Packing House in
Fallbrook, the Vista Street Fair and private functions all around the San Diego area. Black Bone Collective's
media appearances include their live performances on KOCT's Oceanside Spectrum (July 2004), KUSI's News San
Diego (Aug 2004) and two live interviews on Liza von Schoenermarck's radio show Blonde and Blues at the
Palomar College radio station KKSM AM 1320.
